About us
ZMS GmbH is a technology company for electronics and custom hardware. We specialise in the redesign of assemblies with obsolete components, with the aim of extending the service life of existing systems economically and sustainably.
Our focus is securing the long-term availability of electronic assemblies in automotive, mechanical engineering and industry. To do that, we combine engineering, manufacturing and supply chain services under one roof.
Management
Horst Fischer
Managing DirectorHorst Fischer studied communications engineering in Kassel. For twelve years he developed test equipment for in-car entertainment at Bosch Blaupunkt in Hildesheim and in Braga, Portugal. He then held roles including Head of Industrial Engineering at Airbus in Ulm and Head of Test Equipment Development at TQ Systems. Later came positions as Director of Operations at an automotive tier 1 supplier and at a manufacturer of industrial test and measurement equipment. For Whitehorse Laboratories he built up the EU branch, offering testing and analysis services. In recent years he set up the Q-LAB test laboratory at Components at Service. Alongside that, he looked for ways to replace obsolete components for customers. One of those enquiries led to the idea of founding ZMS GmbH.
Dominik Zillner
Managing DirectorDominik Zillner holds a BA in International Management and an MA in Strategic Marketing Management. He began his career in management consulting, supporting international companies, mainly from the automotive industry, through strategic and operational transformation projects. His consulting work covered corporate strategy, digitalisation, supply chain management, process optimisation and project management. He helped companies develop workable concepts and implement them in complex international organisations. Since 2021 Dominik Zillner has worked as an entrepreneur in the electronics industry. In this role he is responsible for the strategic development of companies and works on consulting services, distribution, supply chain management and the development of customer-specific solutions. His focus is on securing supply chains for the long term, improving procurement processes and building lasting customer and supplier relationships.

We act as your systems partner with overall responsibility across all project phases. Delivery runs through an established network of specialised development, testing and production partners, particularly in automotive.
Central control stays with ZMS. That gives you one point of contact, coordination from end to end, and open communication on an equal footing.

Reliable electronics is the basis of our work. Our customers can rely on redesigned assemblies working without fault across the entire life cycle. That is why we test and document every step, from analysis to series production.
Our quality management is certified to ISO 9001. That confirms clearly defined, verifiable processes, which we improve continuously. For you it means traceable results and consistent quality in every project.
Sustainability
Sustainability is part of our business model. We extend the service life of existing systems instead of replacing them completely. That saves resources, reduces electronic waste and avoids premature full modernisation.
Our environmental management is certified to ISO 14001. We assess environmental impact systematically and reduce it step by step.
Certificates
We are not stopping there. Preparation for IATF 16949 certification has already begun.
